General Document Checklist
These documents are typically required for all Russian visa and e-Visa applications, regardless of the applicant's country of origin.
Valid Passport Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date. Must have at least 2 blank visa pages.
Passport Photo 35Γ45 mm, colour, white background, taken within the last 6 months. ICAO-compliant (full face, neutral expression).
Completed Application Form Filled accurately in Roman script. All fields must be completed; no corrections or crossings-out.
Proof of Accommodation Hotel booking confirmation, invitation letter, or private host registration. Address and dates must match visa application.
Travel Insurance Minimum coverage of β¬30,000 (or equivalent). Must cover the full duration of your stay in Russia, including medical evacuation.
Return / Onward Ticket Confirmed travel booking showing your planned exit from Russia. E-tickets are accepted.
Proof of Financial Means Bank statements, traveler's cheques, or credit card statements showing sufficient funds for your stay.
